INTERFACE

Interface is an annual event hosted by the students of the Department of Electronics, Communication and Instrumentation Engineering and is aimed as a platform where young vibrant minds get an opportunity to dedicate and display their creative energies and to build bridges with industry and society, through a series of symposia, lectures and technology-edged competitions.

Interface endeavors to ignite the fire of innovation and technical excellence. The technical meet is held annually around the month of March and has student participation from Engineering colleges all over India. Over the years various business institutions and corporate entities have become a part of the festival by participating in this event and organizing various activities.

DAICE

DAICE (Departmental Association of Instrumentation and Communication Engineers) is an integral part of the Department of Electronics, Communications and Instrumentation Engineering.

This students' organization was formed in the year 1995, by the students of the Department and has been active since then in conducting various Technical Events, Cultural Competitions and other academic activities, including the well-known annual nation-wide events: Interface 2k, Interface 2k1 and Interface 2k2.

GITAM

GITAM (Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management) is an institute well-known for its excellence and high standards. The College of Engineering offers undergraduate and post-graduate courses in various disciplines.

The Department of Electronics, Communications and Instrumentation Engineering is one of the oldest and is undoubtedly one of the most highly acclaimed departments of the college.

INTERFACE 2003

This year, the event will be organized on Friday, 28th February 2003.

The theme for the technical symposium is:

"A Rendezvous with Technologies in Instrumentation and Communication."
